The Volunteer Tax Training Session is only mandatory for those volunteers who would like to prepare tax returns. Volunteers who would like to serve as Greeters, Screeners and Reviewers may attend a Tax Training and Certification Session, however your attendance is not mandatory to serve as a volunteer. A separate training may be provided by the individual tax sites.
