Financial Resource Volunteers at these 4 tax sites will help you complete the FAFSA (financial aid application)!  Bring your most recent tax return with you to your appointment.  Students who are considered “dependent” on the FAFSA application will need to bring their parents and their parents’ tax returns to the appointment as well.

Applications may be filed all year, but it is best to submit the FAFSA by
March 1st to ensure consideration for Maryland state grants and loans.

Rawlings Guaranteed Access Grant provides an award that will help cover the cost of full-time study at a Maryland college or university for low and moderate income families.  The grant equals 100% of the student’s financial need, up to $13,700 annually in tuition!  A student must complete the FAFSA in addition to the GA Grant application in order to receive the grant.  The Baltimore CASH Campaign will help you file the GA Grant along with your FAFSA!
