FREE Tax Preparation and Earned Income Tax Credit

Click Here For The 2012 Tax Flier

The Baltimore CASH Campaign provides free tax preparation services for our clients so they do not have to pay the high cost of paid tax preparers and to insure they benefit from the Earned Income Tax Credit.  Free services are provided to taxpayers with incomes under $50,000 and single taxpayers (no dependents) with incomes under $25,000.  The Campaign will begin scheduling appointments on January 3, 2012.

Earn It ...
If you made less than $49,078 in 2011, you may qualify for the Earned Income Tax Credit (EITC) - a credit that will pay some families up to $5,751 based on family size and income. Come to a free tax preparation site to see what you may qualify for.

Keep It ...
Don't pay expensive tax or "rapid refund" fees. Trained and certified volunteers will prepare and e-file your taxes for FREE, and even help you direct deposit for a faster refund!

Save It ...
Open a bank account, buy a savings bond and improve your credit.  Ask the volunteers at the tax site about ways to put your money to work for you.

Family Size Income Cutoff for Head of Household Income Cutoff for Married Filing Jointly Maximum Federal EITC Benefit
