FREE Tax Preparation

Income eligibility requirements:
  • a single filer without dependents making $25,000 or less
  • a family of 2 or more making $49,000 or less
Even though Money Power Day is over, you can still receive free tax preparation!

What You Need
When you come to the Money Power Day, bring the following:
  • A social security card for EACH family member
  • W-2 forms for all jobs worked in 2009
  • Child care provider name, address, and tax ID number
  • All banking account information (a voided check and/or saving deposit slip) to direct deposit your refund into up to three separate accounts
  • A copy of last year's tax return
  • Any document or information about money you have received from the IRS or Maryland
  • All 1099 forms for other income, if any
  • Any other tax related documents you have received
  • Every adult on your return must come to sign the return
